"Federico and Carlos, grandfather and grandson, live together on a small banana plantation that has seen better days. The banana business is becoming unsustainable for Federico, and he will view favorably the proposal to sell the adjacent land to an investment fund. Carlos, unaware of the family's economic situation, is only tormented by the reasons for his father's absence, a sailor who disappeared in search of a wandering island."
