Biography

(Sri Sadhu Om, 1922-1985) Disciple of Bhagavan Sri Ramana. In 1946, he first visited Bhagavan at Ramana Ashram in Tiruvannamalai, and the following year he quit his job and went to Bhagavan's side and became his disciple. He returned to his hometown after Maharshi's nirvana in 1950, then moved to Tiruvannamalai in 1955 and quietly practiced Bhagavan's teachings for 30 years. Having interacted closely with Sri Muruganar, he edited and published the second edition (1971) of Muruganar's “True Paintings,” and edited the vast manuscript entrusted to him by Muruganar into nine volumes to create “Sri Ramana.” It was published over 18 years from 1978 to 1996 under the title Ramana Jnana Bodham. His works include 《Trends and Translations》, 《The Path of Sri Ramana》 (I, II), 《Sadanai Saram》, and 《Sri Ramana Sahasram》. , together with Michael James, translated the original book, “Guru Vācaka Kōvai,” into English.
