Biography

Jeon Jung-kook (Hangul: 전정국; born September 1, 1997), better known mononymously as Jungkook (stylized as Jung Kook) or Golden Maknae (due to his exceptional number of talents), is a South Korean singer, songwriter and record producer. He is a member of and main vocalist in the South Korean boy band BTS. In 2018, he was awarded the fifth-class Hwagwan Order of Cultural Merit by the President of South Korea (along with the other members of BTS) for his contributions to Korean culture, becoming the youngest person in history to do so.
